Jarytza Avalos Linares (She/They/Ella)
Jarytza is a bilingual, bicultural member of the Latine and LGBTQIA+ community who aims to provide services that are affirming and honor intersectionality.
They recognize the importance of holistic care, noting wellness in the connection of mind. Body, and spirit. They have a bottom-up approach to therapy, and use somatic (body-based) modalities in session to bring connection to mind and body. They used mindfulness based practices and are trained in EMDR.
As a clinical social worker, they recognize the influence of our society and situations around us that influence our wellbeing.
I am not someone who can tell you what to do or how to “fix” your life, but I am a guide who can support you and provide resources to explore methods and paths to reach the place we want to be.
That starts with centering where we are, and glimpsing at our past and current situations that we feel weigh us down.
